Assistant Manager
We're looking for a friendly, sharp, and highly organized Assistant Resort Manager to represent our lakeside resort brand and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who loves hospitality, excels with people, and can handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Handle guest check-in/checkout support, questions, and issues professionally
- Use booking platforms and reservation software to generate and manage reservations
- Respond to guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Serve as on-site point of contact for vendors, maintenance, and housekeeping
- Update calendars, logs, reservations, and internal communication tools
- Help improve occupancy by identifying booking opportunities
- Light administrative tasks and record keeping
- Ensure the resort's image, tone, and standards are consistently met
Required Skills
- Excellent communication — phone and email
- Tech savvy: comfortable with reservation systems, Gmail, and online tools
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
- Friendly, welcoming, and customer-service oriented
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
Bonus Points
- Hospitality or vacation rental experience
- Knowledge of short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com)
- Marketing experience (upselling, event bookings, seasonal specials)

Part-Time Cabin Cleaner
Our small lakeside resort is looking for someone to join our team cleaning cabins on a part-time basis, 1–2 days per week. We have checkouts during the week and on weekends. Weekend availability is required. There may also be an opportunity to pick up additional hours working in the resort cafe.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare cabins for new guests (vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, etc.)
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all guest areas
- Report any maintenance or repair needs
Ideal Candidate
- Has an eye for detail
- Works well independently
- Is dependable and friendly
- Previous cleaning experience is a plus — paid training provided
